About World Federation for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology

is a Federation of Affiliated Organizations consisting of Regional Federations and National Societies for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology. The Regional Federations cover National Societies of Ultrasound in Asia (AFSUMB), Europe (EFSUMB), Latin America (FLAUS) and Africa (MASU). National Societies cover North America (AIUM), and Australasia (ASUM). Individual members of the National Societies are physicians, scientists, engineers and ultrasonographers. The total number of individual members is presently more than 43,000.
